CVM-96

Panel Mount Three Phase Kilowatt Hour / kW Demand Power Quality Analyzer

The CVM Series power quality analyzers are highly accurate metering devices which measure the main electrical parameters in three or four wire, single-phase and / or three-phase systems up to 480V.

Measurements are in true effective value (TRMS), using three voltage inputs and neutral (if available) with two or three external current transformers having a …/5A or …/1A secondary.

These analyzers record active, inductive reactive, capacitive reactive and apparent power per phase and system total. The CVM can also measure harmonics and neutral current, depending on model number. The entire CVM series has a built in power demand meter which calculates integrated demand in a preset period (1 – 60 minutes) using the sliding window method.

The CVM series can be supplied with additional functions from selected expansion cards. Optional cards include: analogue and / or digital outputs, which can be programmed to link with any measured parameter. Communications include: Modbus, Johnson N2, Profibus and Ethernet TCP/IP.

These meters can either be stand alone or “ganged” into a single enclosure for multiple metering applications.

In addition to displaying all measured or calculated electrical parameters the CVM analyzers store all parameters into RAM before disruption of power.

Connected to these meters are National Meter’s labeled +/- 0.5% - 1% accurate solid core, split core or bar type current transformers. Please consult NMI application engineer.
